FORUM THEATRE WORKSHOPS
My workshops are a collaborative journey to explore and address social issues and challenges guided by a theme. We use fun, engaging and thought-provoking theatre games and techniques. In the past, themes have centred around belonging, racism and health.
During workshops, we craft short scenes and plays, drawing from the rich tapestry of our diverse experiences. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where every participant's voice is valued and encouraged. Our creative process promotes empathy, understanding, and the nurturing of innovative solutions.
Workshops have always finalized in a forum theatre performance (though it is not required). On stage, our scenes and stories come to life, and the audience becomes an integral part of the experience. They are not mere spectators; they are invited to actively engage, offer suggestions, assume roles, and even change the play itself! This dynamic and engaging interactive process fosters critical thinking, sparks meaningful dialogues (forum of ideas), and empowers individuals and communities to take action in their communities and lives.
